We have seen Pumpkin mostly in
Halloween decoration, let us also have a look on its nutritious value. Pumpkin
is very good for heart, it promotes good vision. Pumpkin also provides Vitamin
A, which is essential during pregnancy and lactation. It also helps to lower
blood pressure. My son loves to have pumpkin in form of a soup, would love to
share my recipe...
Ingredients:-
• ½ kg
Pumpkin
• 2
Onions
• ¼ Cup
Milk
• Salt
according to your taste
• Black
Pepper according to your taste
• ½
tbsp Butter
• 1 spoon of chopped
garlic
Method:-

Take sliced pumpkin & 1 onion in a cooker. After 2 whistles,
let it cool for 10 mins.

Use a blender and blend all the vegetables .Further strain these
vegetables in a separate pan to give a nice boil.

In this pan, add little crushed black pepper, salt according to
your taste...Further add little milk to this soup...
·
In another pan, add little butter and very little oil so that
butter doesn’t burn...
·
To this add little chopped garlic & onion. Cook till garlic
& onions turns transparent.
·
Add this to your 1st pan and let it boil for 10 mins & serve
it fresh with garlic bread...
